In order to expand much-needed research and champion awareness for extremity war trauma survivors, the Foundation collaborates with organizations that have similar missions. We would like to thank the following groups for their support of extremity trauma research and our military and veterans.
Veterans Leadership Program of Western PA
The Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania provides essential housing, employment, and other vital supportive services to eligible veterans, service members and their families to improve self-sufficiency, sustainability and quality of life.
The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund
The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund provides financial assistance and quality of life solutions for Marines, Sailors and other military personnel from the Army, Air Force and Coast Guard who served in support of Marine Forces, and were injured in post 9-11 combat or training, or diagnosed with life threatening illnesses, and their families. The fund provides relief for immediate financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery, as well as perpetuating needs such as home modifications, adaptive transportation and specialized equipment. They assist the service member and family with transition back home and into their communities by helping with education, job placement and computers for school. The Semper Fi Fund also plays a vital role in educating the public on the special needs of our wounded service members and their families.

The Wounded Artist Project

The Wounded Artist Project is sending art kits to war wounded, ill and injured. The kits are designed not only for dealing with war trauma, but also to help GIs think about a future career or college major. The Project also has a series of introductory art instruction videos on its own YouTube channel.
Military Family Network

The Military Family Network works with organizations, local governments, businesses and military families to create a community of expert and trusted resources, both online and off. As a news, information, resource and referral service, MFN is committed to supporting service members, veterans and their families by increasing their readiness and well-being.
Keystone Paralyzed Veterans of America
The Keystone Paralyzed Veterans of America is one of 34 chartered chapters of the Paralyzed Veterans of America in the United States. The chapter was founded in 1960. The Paralyzed Veterans of America, founded in 1946, is a congressionally chartered veterans' service organization that has developed a unique expertise on many issues relating to the special needs of its members – veterans of the armed services who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction.
